Mikell Damon Hall

Mikell Damon Hall, 23, of Brookhaven, died Friday,  Dec. 2, 2011 at USA Burn Center in Mobile. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.  Services will be 11am Wednesday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. 

 
Mikell was a native of Wesson and had lived in Colorado, Ohio, Wesson and Brookhaven.  He was a sophomore at Co-Lin Community College and worked as a receiving clerk for Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Brookhaven.  He loved his ’68 Cadillac and his ’79 Corvette.  He also loved to draw video game characters.  Mikell was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
 
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, D.B. and Nancy Watson; paternal grandfather, Allen Hall; uncles, Damon Watson, Charles David Watson, Wayne Hall and Alton Hall; aunt, Mimi Stegall;
       
Survivors include wife, Courtney Costilow Hall; parents, Don and Lorraine Hall of Wesson; sisters, Leighia Grayson and husband Nathan of Brookhaven and April Smith and husband Josh of Wesson; son, Gauge Shoop of Wesson; nephews and nieces, Branden Canny, Taylor Berch, Colton Smith, Eli Grayson and Charleigh Smith; maternal grandmother, Maxie Case; numerous aunts and uncles; sister-in-law, Micayla Costilow;
 
Memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson.
