Wesson boys win, girls lose vs. Amite County

The Wesson Cobras picked up a nice Region 6-2A win over Amite County on Tuesday night, thanks to 16 points scored each by Terry Brown and J. J. Sutton, along with 10 each from James Clay and Patrick Lumley.
A big third quarter put the Cobras ahead for good after Wesson trailed by five at the half.  The Cobras notched 27 in the frame and won 59-49.
The Lady Cobras got 19 from Madison Rials and 10 from Brandi McInnis in a 56-45 loss to the Lady Trojans.  The Lady Cobras led 36-35 after three quarters, but gave up a big fourth quarter in the loss.
