Girls’ Action

Sarah Claire Armstrong came off the bench to lead Copiah with 15 points, followed by Taylor Wilson with 14 points, and Carleigh Roberts with 11 points. Mary Landrum Pyron also chipped in with 4 points. Canton also had three players in double figures, led by Jordan Ray with 14 points.

CA shocked Starkville by taking an 11-8 lead in the first quarter, but the Lady Volunteers overwhelmed Copiah 18-2 in the second period and led 26-10 at the half.
