Pine Crest seeks memorabilia
Pine Crest seeks memorabilia for dining room
Do you have any rustic memorabilia from the “good ol’ days?’ Have you been holding to stuff for decades just because you don’t have anywhere to display it?
Well, if you answered yes to either or both questions, you have a chance to help a local organization out by loaning your memorabilia for display. Pine Crest Guest Home is changing the motif of the residents’ dining area with plans to display the loaned items and turn it into a ‘walk down memory lane.’
Bobby Wellborn, director of Pine Crest, said that anything “that is old” will be considered. Some of the old items Wellborn seeks include Coca Cola and other soft drink signs, photos, newspapers and newspaper clippings of local or national events, Sears and Roebuck’s catalogs and the like, men’s caps, uniforms and such. “We will entertain any item that has some nostalgic value,” Wellborn said.
Items can be brought to Pine Crest on Caldwell Drive for consideration. For more information, contact Wells at 601-894-1452.
