Wesson softball off to great start

The Lady Cobras’ softball team defeated Cathedral on Tuesday night at Wesson, 6-4.

On Saturday, the team swept a pair of games winning over Lawrence County 9-5 and over Franklin County 9-7.

The team hosts Bogue Chitto on Wednesday and participates in an all-day tournament on Saturday at Franklin County.  Opponents are Lawrence County at 10:15, Vicksburg at 11:45 and Vicksburg at 3:30.
