Sammy Ashley
Sammy Ashley, 43, of Wesson, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 5:30pm-8pm Wednesday at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Services will be 2pm Thursday at Zion Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangments.
Mr. Ashley was a member of Beauregard United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Union Academy and Co-Lin. He was a member of A. B. A. T. E. Christian Motocycle Group. Mr. Ashley worked for Southern Pine Electric.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Ashley.
He is survived by wife, Vicki Ashley; sons, Gage Ashley and Justin Smith both of Wesson; daughter, SaraBeth Ashley of Wesson; parents Greer and Juanita Ashley; father-in-law and mother-in-law Tommy and Billie Jean Cook; brother-in-law, Clay Cook and wife Melissa and children; brother-in-law, Tommy Cook, Jr. and wife Anita.
