Joseph Keywood
Joseph (Joe) Keywood, 86, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Mississippi Veteran’s Home.
Visitation will be 4pm-8pm Sunday at Stringer Family Funeral Home and 9am-10am Monday at First Baptist Church. Services will be 10am Monday at First Baptist Church with burial in Hazlehurst Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mr. Keywood was a native of Fairfield, Alabama. He retired from State of Mississippi Vocational Rehabilitation for the Blind. He was a Marine veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Keywood was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church Hazlehurst.

He is survived by his wife Betty Keywood; daughter, Betty Jo Johnson of Thibodaux, LA; sons, Bubba Keywood and wife Julie of Douglasville, GA, Steve Keywood of Paris, TX, and Jerry Keywood and wife Amy of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Meghan Fruchey and husband Joe, Whitney Johnson, Genny Keywood, Joseph Keywood and Jay Keywood and wife Sarah; and great grandchildren, Liam Fruchey, Molly Fruchey, and Lily Fruchey.
