Wesson tennis undefeated in district

The Wesson Cobras defeated Clarkdale 6-1 in Class 2A district tennis action on Wednesday at Copiah Lincoln Community College. Coach Rusty Newman was proud of his team for earning their fourth district win. “My team played great; a couple of them struggled during their first set but were able to come back to win the second set, tie breaker, and finally the match. Clarkdale was a tough team but Wesson never gave up and their determination paid off”.
