Joe says Mothers Day “thanks”

Coming up Sunday is the biggest day of the year-Mother’s Day.  Guys (and gals)–you’d better be prepared!  Show Mom your appreciation for your life and especially for bringing you into this world.  Husbands–be thankful for the one that went through it all to have your children.  Let Mom have a restful day with no deadlines, no cooking or cleaning or bill-paying or running around. Help her enjoy it.

Here’s a little Mother’s Day humor:
Things Mom Would Never Say
“How on earth can you see the TV sitting so far back?”
“Yeah, I used to skip school a lot, too”
“Just leave all the lights on … it makes the house look more cheery”
“Let me smell that shirt — Yeah, it’s good for another week”
“Go ahead and keep that stray dog, honey. I’ll be glad to feed and walk him every day”
“Well, if Timmy’s mamma says it’s OK, that’s good enough for me.”
“The curfew is just a general time to shoot for. It’s not like I’m running a prison around here.”
“I don’t have a tissue with me … just use your sleeve”
“Don’t bother wearing a jacket – the wind-chill is bound to improve”

Our son Grayson and I often talk about his Mommy, as she works in Jackson and is later getting home most days.  KK is not only the best mother that he, his brothers and his sister could have hoped for, but she is also a good life-coach through her words and actions.
Some weeks she is pulled in so many directions, I can’t fathom how she manages it all–mother to four children(first off), daughter, worker, friend, sister, aunt, etc., etc.  She is an active woman, to say the least, and she thrives on it.  Starting with me, she brightens the day of everyone she encounters with her smile and good natured-ness.
So, the kids and I are truly grateful to have her as their mother and my wife.  How she does ‘it’ every day, I’ll never figure it out.
We love you!
Joe Buck (and kids)
