Fannie Belle McAlpin, 80, of Crystal Springs, died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Friday, June 22 at Harmony Baptist Church. Services will be 11am Saturday, June 23 from Harmony Baptist Church with interment in Harmony Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mrs. McAlpin was a native of Mize, formerly lived in Paduca, KY and has lived in Copiah County since 1952. She was a homemaker and dedicated mother. She loved the outdoors and fishing. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Carl McAlpin; sons, Wayne McAlpin (Debbie) of D’Iberville, Keith McAlpin (Debbie) of Crystal Springs and Bobby McAlpin (Linda) of Paris TX; daughter, Betty Lynn Carlisle of Crystal Springs; step-sons, Walter McAlpin (Kittie) and Frank McAlpin both of Seattle, WA; step-daughter, Sandee Butler of Neah Bay, WA; grandchildren, Steve McAlpin, Chad McAlpin, Jamie Johnson, Ashley Zeigler, Karla Sims, Krystal McAlpin, Scott McAlpin, Alisha Murphy, Andy Carlisle, and Zack McAlpin; and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
