All local schools closed Thursday
- UPDATE: ALL LOCAL SCHOOLS-HAZLEHURST CITY SCHOOLS, COPIAH COUNTY SCHOOLS, COPIAH ACADEMY AND CO-LIN HAVE CANCELLED CLASSES FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 30.
- ADDITIONALLY, JUNIOR HIGH AND 7TH GRADE GAMES AT COPIAH ACADEMY SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY NIGHT HAVE BEEN POST-PONED.
- MS Job Corps in Crystal Springs has cancelled Thursday’s Community Relations luncheon and will reschedule the event at a later date.
- Copiah-Lincoln Community College will shut down completely at 2 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. Plans are to re-open on Thursday.
- All Copiah County School District schools will be closed on Wednesday.
- Copiah Academy peewee football games for tonight have been cancelled.
- All Hazlehurst City Schools will be closed on Wednesday.
- Copiah County Courthouse offices and related all county agencies WILL BE OPEN AND WORKING ON WEDNESDAY.
