Daniel Beard
(Rayford) Daniel Beard, 79, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, October 29, 2012, at St. Dominic Hospital.
Visitation will be 5-8pm at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services will be 2pm Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Chapel with burial at Rocky Hill Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mr. Beard was a native of Wesson. He had lived in Copiah County all of his life. He was a retired truck driver and a mechanic. He enjoyed visiting with his friends. All of his grandchildren were special to him.
Mr. Beard was preceded in death by his wife, Wynell Britt Beard, two sons and a sister.
He is survived by son, Jerry Beard of Crystal Springs; daughters, Sharon Morgan (Ronnie) of Hazlehurst; sister, Hilda West of Brookhaven; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
