Indians, Cobras host first round south playoffs on Friday

Post-season high school football gets underway this Friday night, at least for a couple of area schools.
Hazlehurst (11-0), the top seed out of Region 7-3A hosts Raleigh (2-7), the four seed out of 6-3A, at 7:00 Friday night.
Wesson (6-4), who earned the second spot in Region 6-2A, will also host a first-round game on Friday.  The Cobras entertain Bay Springs (6-4).  The Bulldogs finished third in Region 7-2A.  Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Both teams concluded their respective regular seasons on a winning note.  The Indians throttled Crystal Springs 53-44, while Wesson took care of Puckett 32-6, both this past Friday night.
