Thomas Lyle (Boots) Wilson
Thomas Lyle (Boots) Wilson, 61, Crystal Springs, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at his home.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2pm-5pm at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 2pm Monday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at New Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson was a born in Wallace, Idaho and graduated from Wingfield High School in Jackson. He moved to Crystal Springs after serving 4 years in the U.S. Air force while stationed at Fairfield, CA. He was employed at Bowen and Butler Engineering, Wilson Meat House and then at Sheldon Labs for over 25 years. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Ann Wilson and his step-mother Linda Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Careen Day Wilson; daughter, Jennifer Wilson Wyles (Stephen) of Richton, MS; son, Thomas Erik Wilson of Crystal Springs; father, Jack Wilson, Sr.; sisters, Deborah Phillips of Crystal Springs, Vicky Lynn Jasper (Ricky) of Crystal Springs, Tammy Stowe of Crystal Springs, Sandy Smith (Mickey) of Monticello and Leigh Ann Williams (Ricky) of Crystal Springs; brothers, Jack Wilson, Jr. of Crystal Springs and Jamie Grantham (June) of Athens, AL; grandchildren, Tom Wyles, Grant Wyles and Wilson Wyles.
