Blanche Judith Wood Davis, 71, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, January 6, 2013.
Visitation will be 1pm-3pm Tuesday at Hazlehurst United Methodist Church. Services will be 3pm Tuesday at Hazlehurst United Methodist Church with burial at Hazlehurst Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Davis was born on October 22, 1941. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Sandifer Wood, Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Blanche Amos Wood; her husband of 50 years, William Herbert Davis; son, Herbert Darryl Davis of Ridgeland; daughter, Dawn Davis Ertle and husband, Clint of Terry; grandchildren, Warren and Payton Ertle and Madeline and Manning Davis; sisters, Barbara Wood Wise (Bob) and Delia Wood; brothers, Claude Sandifer Wood III, (Babs) and Ronald Allen Wood; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
