Catherine Tillman
Catherine Roland Tillman, 88, of Crystal Springs, died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at her home.
Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home. Services will be 11am Wednesday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Tillman was a Bell South Operator and worked for Sugar and Spice. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Tillman was a Breast Cancer and Melanoma survivor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion B. Tillman, Jr.
She is survived by daughter, Cheryl Hood (Henry) of Crystal Springs; brother, George Roland of Crystal Springs; grandson, Brant Hood (Larkin) of Decatur, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
