Indians win Region 7-3A tournament

The Hazlehurst Indians punched their ticket as a high seed in 3A south state basketball by winning the Region 7-3A tournament last week, punctuated by their 55-46 win over Wilkinson County in finals on Friday night.
Senior forward Trojuan White was named tournament MVP.  Four other Indians-John Bridges, Jr., Dedric Reese, Kenneth Coleman and Shelton Tanner-were named to the All-Tournament Team.
Hazlehurst will host McLaurin on Tuesday night at 6:00.
