Will Roy (Sonny) Templeton

Will Roy (Sonny) Templeton, 78, of Dentville, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at University Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at the Dentville Christian Church in Dentville, at 6:30 pm on Friday, Feb. 22. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

He was born to Will Roy Templeton, Sr. and Pauline Strong Templeton on September 12, 1934.

He served in the United States Navy and retired from Mississippi Game and Fish Commission. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, William Spencer Templeton.

Survivors include: daughter, Melinda Westrope; son-in-law, Jim Westrope; and one grandson, Jordan Westrope. He also had one nephew, Billy Templeton.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the Dentville Cemetery Foundation in his honor.
