McNeill receives assistantship

RECEIVES ASSISTANTSHIP – Molly McNeill, a Copiah Academy graduate, received one of five graduate assistantships awarded by The Children’s Center for Communication and Development at the University of Southern Mississippi for the 2012-13 academic year.  Her duties have included assisting a speech-language pathologist in one of The Children’s Center’s preschool classes.  The Children’s Center is a clinical division of the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences and provides educational services for infants, toddlers and preschoolers throughout Mississippi with communication and developmental disabilities. Molly, daughter of Tal and Susan McNeill, is pursuing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  She is pictured here demonstrating correct articulation of the /s/sound while “ssssifting through the ssssand” with these boys who are working on their speech, while playing outside.
