McAtee’s World: What was that?

OBJECTS: On May 10 I was leaving the Greasy Spoon and coming out Sylvarena Road on the way home. It was 9:00 PM. I looked up in the sky and there was this slow moving object. There was a line of green lights and one clear light below them. Whatever it is was moving to the west.
It was not an aircraft because it had no red light. It appeared to be 4 or 5 thousand feet in the air. I heard no sound. As I turned on Brown’s Wells Road at Pete Bland’s old store I saw another one about 5 or 6 miles south of this one. I kept watching them until I got home.
They must have been some sort of balloons. They appeared to be two crosses. It was scary not knowing what they are.
On the next night, the same thing. And on May 12 the same thing. This time I tried to find someone to see it. I could find no one.
These were clear nights. It’s been cloudy nights since. I have seen them no more. I sure would like to know if anyone else saw them. With all the modern things, there should be a way to find out what they are.
