William Herbert Davis, Jr.,

William Herbert Davis, Jr., 75, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Pine Crest Guest Home in Hazlehurst. 

Visitation will be 10am-11am Wednesday, June 26, at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services will be 11am Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Hazlehurst Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
He was the son of the late Maggie Davis Beall and Ellis Beall.  He was born January 20, 1938 in Rayville, LA.  He attended Hazlehurst High School and Co-Lin Jr. College and was an avid Ole Miss Fan.

He was preceded in death by his much loved wife of 50 years, Judy Wood Davis.

Survivors include: his daughter, Dawn (Clint) Ertle of Terry; son, Darryl L. Davis of Jackson; four grandchildren, Warren and Payton Ertle of Terry and Madeline and Manning Davis of Jackson; two brothers, Charles and Jimmy Beall.
