Great Commission 4-Miler scheduled for Thursday

The Great Commission 4 Miler is a 4 mile walk/run with a 1 mile fun run through beautiful Hazlehurst, Mississippi. The race begins and ends at First Baptist Church in the heart of downtown Hazlehurst. The course takes you through our lovely community, past some of our most treasured landmarks. This journey takes you around scenic Lake Hazle, by the historic Copiah County Courthouse, to the brick streets and train depot, and much more. “The view is spectacular and the run invigorating. You will be glad that you were a part of the race,” said race coordinator Amy Keywood.
Awards will be given to the top runner in multiple categories. Race day begins with packet pickup and race day registration at First Baptist at 6:30 a.m. on July 4th. The race starts at 7:30 a.m. and the course will close at 9:00 a.m.
