Friends of Children of Mississippi, Brushy Creek Head Start Center is now open weekdays for the purpose of application intake for children ages 3-4 years old on or before Sept. 1 regardless of race, creed, nationality or disability. The intake will also include those having an interest to apply at Mt. Sinai Head Start.
To apply, the following documents must be presented: Proof of brith, Form 121 from the Health Department, 1040’s, Medicaid card/private insurance, and all family members’ social security cards.
Head Start services are free for income/age eligible children. Breakfast, lunch and a snack is served daily. Enrollees also receive various screenings that include speech, language, and vision, dental and medical.
