John Gerald Miller, 77, of Hopewell, died Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Lafayette County.
Visitation will be 1pm-2pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home. Services will be 2pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Chapel with interment at Hopewell Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mr. Miller was a native and lifelong resident of Hopewell. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Mr. Miller graduated high school and participated in sports. He worked as a winder for Kuhlman Electric for 45 years and a booker for Jackson Gas and Oil for 4 years.
Mr. Miller was survived by son, Randy Miller (Kathy) of Utica, daughter, Kelly Miller Brommer (John) of Memphis, brothers, Kelly Miller of Hopewell and Don Miller of Copper Center, Alaska; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jessie Miller, Sarah and Dru Brommer; and great grandchild, Braxton Miller.
