Colonels “swamped” by Parklane

BUSY MAN – Copiah Academy punter Trent Boone, #50, was a busy man last Friday night in Gallman as the Colonels were overwhelmed 48-7 by the Parklane Pioneers along with the wet weather. CA will host Lamar School in another important district game this Friday night.

The Parklane Academy football team and Mother Nature rained all over the Copiah Academy Colonels’ parade last Friday night as the Pioneers overwhelmed CA 48-7 in Gallman. The big difference on this rainy night was the fact that Parklane had a “Gill” – as in senior Dan Gill, who scored four of the Pioneer touchdowns. The tough loss left Copiah with a 0-1 mark in district play and a 1-4 record overall.
