Wesson not aggressive enough

FRIDAY FOOTBALL FUN – Rain poured on the Wesson Cobras and the North Pike Jaguars throughout most of the first half on Friday night, making for a stumbling, fumbling, slip-sliding affair. The Cobras and Jags played to a 0-0 tie through one quarter, then North Pike scored 5 TD’s in the second period enroute to a 49-12 win. (Photo by Tracy Fischer.)

Wesson had all they could handle last Friday night when they traveled down to Summit to play North Pike, and came home empty handed.

Wesson held their own in the first quarter, having the score knotted up at 0. Then in the second quarter, the Jaguars exploded offensively and scored 5 touchdowns. At half time, it was 35-6 in North Pike’s favor.
