Tommie Runnels
Tommie Ervin Runnels of Crystal Springs, died Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Saturday and 1pm-2pm Sunday at Stringer Family Funeral Home. Services will be 2pm Sunday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Gallman Cemetery.
Mr. Runnels was a native of Hazlehurst. He formerly lived in Jackson for two years and two years in Meridian later Houston, Texas for five years before moving back to Crystal Springs and Gallman in 1982.
Tommie was a sales rep in his own fastener business. He and his family attended First Baptist Church, Crystal Springs. He graduated at Crystal Springs High School and Co-lin.
He is survived by wife, Deborah (Debbie) Anita Harris Runnels; son, Tommie Ervin (T.J.) Runnels and wife Carrie; daughter, Dee Anna Lechtenberg and husband Brandon of Flowood; sister, Sara Mayfield and husband Tom of Springdale, Ark.; grandchildren, Landon Allen and Mallory Lane
