Benjamin Head
Benjamin Head, 23, of Port Authur, TX, died Friday, September 27, 2013 at his home.
Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services will be 11am Wednesday at Stringer Family Chapel with interment at Strong Hope Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, E.B. and Dessie Pruitt and Everette and Dorris Head.
Mr. Head was a member of Strong Hope Baptist Church. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Accounting. He was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Alpha Lamba and enjoyed weight lifting.
He is survived by his parents, Ira Head and Cherry Pruitt Head of Wesson; uncle, Donnie Pruitt of Midland, TX, aunt, Becky Litton of Fort Collins, CO, uncle, Garland Page of Hazlehurst, and fiancé Maurene Hughs of Starkville.
