Brister brings special music to Fifty Plus

NEW MEMBERS – Five new members joined the Fifty-Plus Club at the Sept. meeting: Barbara and Bob Mack, Tonya Herring, Crystal Springs; Eloise Drummon, Hazlehurst, and Lynda Brister, Crystal Springs, who presented the program.

Club member Martha Hagan of Crystal Springs introduced Lynda Brister at the September meeting of the 50+ Club in the Anderson Building on the Copiah-Lincoln Community College campus.

Lynda grew up in Terry where her parents, Mrs. Lillian Lee, her church and the school encouraged her love of music. She has sung with country music bands for 30 years and she has 50 years experience with Gospel Music. Brister played with Lynda & Linda for 6 years and as The Moss Sisters appeared in churches, on the Farmer Jim Neal TV, Maurice Thompson, Woody Assaf, and the Neshoba County Fair; and in Summer Camp Shelby USO Shows. She was pianist for the Capital Club for 5 years.

She retired as an administrative secretary and moved to Crystal Springs about five years ago.
