Estelle Touchstone Donahoe, 92, of Crystal Springs died Wednesday, October 2, 2013.

Visitation is being held Friday, Oct 4 at Stringer Funeral Home in Crystal Springs from 12pm until 2pm with the funeral service at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born in Kentwood, Louisiana, on May 20, 1921 to the late Omer Green Touchstone and Dezzie Dee Schillings Touchstone. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and formerly a member of Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church at Crystal Springs.

Mrs. Donahoe was an accomplished Mother, homemaker, and school teacher. In 1957 she was chosen to represent Mississippi in the Mrs America Contest. In 1972 she acquired her Master of Education Degree from Mississippi College. She became an Elementary School Teacher working in Copiah and Rankin Counties affecting the lives of countless young students.

She was preceded in death by her husband Troy Donahoe and two brothers OG Touchstone and Rex Touchstone.

Survivors include: children, Troy Donahoe Jr. with wife Mary of Quitman, Judith Donahoe Smith with husband Harold of Franklinton, LA, Eric H. Donahoe of Miami, FL, Andrew T. Donahoe with wife Debbie and Kevin D. Donahoe with wife Kim of Crystal Springs.

She is survived by her brother John Lampton Touchstone and sister Bobbye Jean Sojourner.

The family requests that memorial gifts be directed to the First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs Building Fund.
