Colonels fall to Cougars

The Copiah Academy Colonels came oh so close to notching their second win of the season last Friday night against archrival Brookhaven Academy before falling 21-18 in Gallman. In fact, the result was in doubt until the final play of the game when CA’s 30-yard field goal attempt sailed wide left. Following the heartbreaking loss, Copiah’s record stands at 1-8, while Brookhaven improved to 4-5.
