WESSON – The Copiah-Lincoln Community College Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program experienced a fee change effective Oct. 1, 2013. Due to increases in supply costs the new fee is $340 with another adjustment effective Jan. 1, 2014, raising the fee to $495.

The CNA program prepares the individual to assist in providing care to patients at hospitals, long-term care facilities, physicians’ offices, home health and at home.  Participants receive four to eight weeks of training that include classroom time and clinical practices. Once the program is completed students are prepared to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment for certification.
