Catherine Patterson Bracken
Catherine Patterson Bracken, 86, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at her home.
Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Home. Services will be 10am Saturday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Lakewood Memorial Park. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Bracken was a member of First Baptist Church, Hazlehurst. She retired from General Electric in Jackson after 25 years of service. She was a native of Preston, MS. Mrs. Bracken was a very sweet lady and her home was a gathering place for many people in the county who loved her.
Mrs. Bracken was preceded in death by her husband, Darnell Bracken, and a sister, Mary Alice Robertson.
Survivors include: daughter, Renee Graves (Mickey Joe) of Hazlehurst; brothers, Tilton Patterson of Preston and James Henry Patterson of Philadelphia; sister, Christine Daniels of Preston; and two grandchildren.
