The Lady Colonels were 4-5 going into last weeks three important district games. The first of the three was a match-up against the Lady Pioneers. Copiah came out of the gates with tremendous offense and defense, grabbing a 16-3 lead at the end of the first. The second quarter was not much different, as the Lady Colonels strutted their skills and took a 29-8 lead at the half. In the third quarter, Copiah completely shut down Parklane’s offense, allowing zero points and scoring 11 of their own. Although, Parklane made a huge 20-point run in the final quarter, but the Lady Colonels held their lead and took home the win with the score of 51-28.
