Nu Kingdom Gospel Group was granted a lifetime experience of traveling to Italy to spread the good news of Jesus.
Timothy Ashmore, group leader, was discovered years, ago along with Chapel Hill M. B. Church Praise Team members Jennifer Alexander, Tammye Hall, and Lammarris Hall, by Jamalar Agency while rendering praise and worship at a revival service.
Pastor Albert Mickel, Owner, has been offering the opportunity for the group to tour the world for over ten years.
Pastor Mickel is related to Chapel Hill’s pastor, Pastor Lionell Corley.
“2013 was definitely the year and Italy was the place,” stated Jennifer Alexander.
The group visited these Italian cities: Dalmine, Travo, Tricesimo, Sulazano, Bolzano, Jesolo, Milan, Verona, Brescia, San Dona di Piave, Piozzo, Nave, Sardegna, and Caserta.
Nu Kingdom ministered in a variety of venues including cathedrals, theatres, auditoriums, coffee houses, restaurants, and even outside on the town square.
The gospel group’s faith; however, was never compromised. They were simply put on a platform to do exactly what they love to do which is to praise God.
From venue to venue and flight to flight, Nu Kingdom blazed across Italian soil leaving a piece of Hazlehurst and The Love of God in their wake.
“I truly believe that this opportunity was ordained by God. It just fell into our hands without struggle. I’ve learned that humility, patience, and a sincere love for God is what took us beyond our wildest dreams,” said Tim Ashmore.
