Colonels beat Bowling Green, slip against Parklane

By Corey McKinney
The Colonels started the week with a home game against the Bowling Green Bucs. Copiah was still playing without two starters, James Andrews and Dom Gilbert, who had been deemed ineligible by the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools earlier in the month.
Copiah started the game on a 14-9 run throughout the first quarter. The Colonels then continued their offense with 10 more points in the second quarter, and only allowing Bowling Green 9 points. Copiah would maintain a 24-18 lead at halftime.
