Thomas Edgar Way
Thomas Edgar Way, 74, of Georgetown, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst.
Visitation will be Monday, April 14, from 10am-11am at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 11am Monday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Georgetown Cemetery.
Mr. Way was a native and lifelong resident of Georgetown. He worked as a millwright and as a deputy sheriff for several years.
He was preceded in by his daughter, Laurie Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia Raney Way; daughter, Sylvia Way Bell of Georgetown; sisters, Carol Beasley of Rockport and Deloris Lowery of Georgetown; grandchildren, Janet Faircloth, Jessica Manis, McKenzie Bell, Christopher Barkley and Amy Jackson.
