Mildred M. Wallace, 93, a former resident of Wesson, and currently residing in St. Petersburg, Florida, died Monday, April 28, 2014 in St. Petersburg.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014 at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel, 894 Natchez Drive, Brookhaven, MS. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Wesson cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home, 894 Natchez Drive, Brookhaven.
She was born in Wesson, on October 13, 1920 to the late William Henry Wallace and Nancy Keenan Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace retired as Vice-President of Trustmark National Bank in Wesson where she earned numerous awards.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, William D. (Butch) Wallace; sisters, Sallie Wallace, M. L. East, and Willie Watson; and a brother, J. F. (Frank) Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace is survived by two nieces, Sally East and Nancy Hudson, and five nephews, Bill East, Dennis East, Larry East, James Wallace and Sonny Wallace.
