Registration underway for Co-Lin’s Maymester and summer term classes

WESSON – Copiah-Lincoln Community College is the place to be this summer by taking classes during the college’s Maymester and summer term sessions. Registration is currently underway at the Counseling Center, located in the Henley Building, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday or 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Earn three or four hours of college credit in just nine days by registering for one of the college’s Maymester classes. The Maymester session is May 19 – May 30, 2014 (no classes on Memorial Day, May 26).
Classes offered during the Maymester session on the Wesson Campus include Principles of Biology II & Lab, Nutrition, Microbiology & Lab, General Chemistry I & Lab, English Comp I, English Comp II, Human Growth & Development, College Algebra, Music Appreciation, General Physics II & Lab, and General Psychology I.
The first summer session is June 2-27, 2013. Registration deadline for the first summer term is Friday, May 30, at 12 p.m.
Classes offered on the Wesson Campus during the first summer session include Principles of Biology I & Lab, Nutrition, Human A&P I & Lab, Introduction to ComputerConcepts, Intermediate English & Reading, English Comp I, World Literature I, Human Growth & Development, World Civilization I, American History I, Weightlifting (Men) I, Personal & Community Health, Weightlifting for Women IV, College Study Skills, Beginning Algebra, Calculus I, Physical Science II & Lab, and General Psychology I.
The second summer session is July 1- 29, 2014. Registration deadline for the first summer term is Monday, June 30, at 12 p.m.
Classes offered on the Wesson Campus during the second term include Human A&P II & Lab, English Comp I, English Comp II, World Literature II, AdolescentPsychology, World Civilization II, American History II, Weightlifting for Men II, Weightlifting for Women IV, Football Theory, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Calculus II, General Psychology I, Psychology of Personal Adjustment, and Introduction to Sociology.
All fees must be paid by the first class meeting. All credit earned for academic courses during the summer ARE transferable to any other accredited college or university.
