Audry W. Hamilton
Audry W. Hamilton, 89, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs.
Visitation will be 9am-11am Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 11am Friday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Hamilton was a native of Crystal Springs where she graduated high school. She formerly lived in Gulfport for many years where she and her husband operated two bakeries in Gulfport and Biloxi. They operated Hamilton’s Bakery in Crystal Springs after moving back from Gulfport.
She was an active member of First Baptist Church, Crystal Springs, until her health failed. She was a former president of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Clyde Ray Hamilton.
Survivors include: son, Wayne Hamilton (Teri) of Cambridge, IL; brothers, Jerry Jackson (Marjorie) and Don Jackson (Marilyn) all of Crystal Springs; sister, Betty Jean Boleware of Pascagoula; and grandchildren, Ryan and Dana Hamilton.
Memorial may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Crystal Springs, MS.
