Cub Scouting is alive and well in Wesson!

Designed for boys ages 7 to 10, Cub Scouting combines outdoor activities, sports, academics, and more, in a fun and exciting program that helps families teach ideals such as honesty, good citizenship, faith, and respect. On June 30, Wesson Cub Scouts Pack 125 promoted seven boys from Tiger Cubs to Wolf Scouts, and three boys from Bear Scouts to WEBELOS, as well as presented numerous awards and badges for achievements the Scouts completed recently. The ceremony was followed by a Pack Cookout.

In July, the Scouts will be attending a week long Cub Scout Day Camp held in Lincoln County. Activities will include BB gun shooting, archery, swimming, crafts, games and much more. Wesson Cub Scouts Pack 125 is actively recruiting Scouts and volunteers for new Dens for the 2014-2015 school year.
