Joan Wilson Horst

Joan Wilson Horst, 84, a native of Hazlehurst, and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date in Hazlehurst. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.

Mrs. Horst was a member of the Mobile Junior League and a Mystic Society for many years. She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Dudley Wilson and Susan Covington Wilson and grandsons, Daniel Wilson Horst and Joseph Edward Hearn.

Survivors include: her former husband, Thomas Armstrong Horst, Jr.; children, Joan Horst Hamilton (Neil), Thomas Armstrong Horst, III and Charles Wilson Horst (Kateri); grandchildren, Christopher Andrew Horst (Becky), Margaret Manning Horst, Michael Covington Horst and Christopher Covington Horst.
