No Weapons Allowed signs come down on county property

SIGNS MUST COME DOWN – The signs posted on each of the entrance doors to the county courthouse are being taken down to comply with the state law.

The Copiah County Board of Supervisors voted Thursday to rescind the ordinance passed last summer to restrict the carrying of weapons on county-owned property. The recension was authorized to comply with HB314 passed by the Mississippi Legislature earlier this year that went into effect July 1.
