Indians clawed by Eagles 44-14; face Bassfield here Friday

The East Marion Eagles rolled over the young Hazlehurst Indians on Friday night in Columbia.  The Indians dropped to 1-3.

Hazlehurst scored on a 3 yard run by Samej James in the third quarter.  Laddarious Williams added the two-point conversion.

Williams scored in the fourth on a 6 yard run.  The PAT failed.
The Indians totaled just 74 total yards.

Anfernee Jordan and Patrick Williams led the Indian defense with 10 tackles.  Timmy Steward collected 7 tackles and forced a fumble.

The Indians will host Bassfield this Friday night at McDaniel Stadium.  Kickoff is slated for 7 o’clock.
