Funeral Services for Robert Donald Tisdale of Hazlehurst are 2:00 pm Thursday October 2, 2014 at Westside Baptist Church with burial at Pleasant Valley Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 5:00 until on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at the Church with visitation to resume from 12:30 pm until time of service on Thursday.

Mr. Tisdale, 70, passed away September 30, 2014 at his residence.

He was born on March 3, 1944 in Orange, TX, to Woodrow Wilson Tisdale and Mary Selma Tisdale.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Woody Tisdale and sister Mary Ann “Sister” Granger and also grandparents, Rev. Claude DeCell and Alta DeCell.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy “Dot” Tisdale; brother, Jimmy Tisdale; Aunts, Lena Case of Brookhaven; Jane DeCell & Inez Tisdale both of Texas; Blanche Tisdale and Margaret Tisdale both of Jackson MS; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
