Copiah County forms tourism board

The Copiah County Board of Supervisors authorized the creation of a tourism board during Monday’s regular monthly session.

The board president met with the mayors and Chamber of Commerce directors of Copiah County’s largest cities to work out a budget and committee structure. About nine members will be appointed to the tourism board. They are ready to get up and running as soon as possible.
