Hinds CC Raymond Library hosting Welty photography
ENJOYING WELTY PHOTOS – Melanie John, left, and Kathy Farris, both employees of the McLendon Library on the Raymond Campus of Hinds Community College, look at some of the photos in the Welty photography exhibit.
Welty once worked as a junior publicity agent for the Roosevelt depression-era Works Progress Administration. The WPA, as it was known, helped millions of unemployed Americans with steady employment.
