Frederick Whitten

Irvin Frederick Whitten, 75,of Crystal Springs, died Modnay,  December 22, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. 

Visitation will be 5pm-7pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Chapel.  Services will be 11am Wednesday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Georgetown Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mr. Whitten was a native of Zellwood, Florida.  He owned and operated Fred’s Crane Service.  He retired in 2002 and moved to Crystal Springs.  Mr. Whitten served in the U. S. Marines.  He was a member of Pine Castle Masonic Lodge in Pine Castle, Florida and the Shriners Temple in Maitland, Florida.
He is survived by his wife Betty Allen Whitten; sons, Frederick Eugene Whitten of Orlando, FL and Bruce Wayne Whitten of Apopka, FL, and Larry S. Whitten of Stone Mountain, GA; daughter, Catina Leigh Skinner of Crystal Springs; brothers, James Marsh and Charles Marsh both of Kalamazoo, MI; sister, Betty Marsh of Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren, Frederick (Freddie) Whitten, Teresa Jewel Whitten, Cheryl Whitten Meredith, Victoria Regina Skinner, Alexander Skinner, Timothy Daniel Skinner, Conner Whitten, and Hana Whitten; and 3 great grandchildren.
