Carl Berry

Carl Franklin Berry, 87, of Georgetown, died Friday, January 9, 2015. 

Visitation will be 1pm-2:30pm Saturday at Georgetown Baptist Church.  Services will be 2:30pm Saturday with burial at Georgetown Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

 

Mr. Berry was a native of Shivers, MS.  He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII.  He worked as a foreman in the gravel production and worked in the oil field.  He was a longtime member and deacon at Georgetown Baptist Church.

 

He is survived by wife, Margaret Holmes Stocker Berry; son, Mike Berry (Gloria) of Gonzales, LA; daughter, Sherry Berry Robbins of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Lula Berry of Gonzales, LA; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
