School board members honored

The Hazlehurst School board met February 18 with all members present. Mayor Henry Banks presented a proclamation from Governor Phil Bryant, naming February 15-21 School Board Members Recognition Week.  As a tribute to the vital role of local school boards in providing a quality educational system, each board member received a framed plaque.
